Dear Klaus,
Yes -15C typical here in Jan-Feb and we often get lots of snow, whatever the temperature below 0C. Tonight they forecast -20C and tomorrow -16C.
I have not galvanized the pieces, but I bought some paint and when I get the time I will paint them.

Re: Klaus (South+North) vs. Andreloha (West+East)
Dear Klaus,
Yes exactly! Congratulations you win!
This is a neat trick to close the game I have just learned, because it only works well near the castle where the 'diamond' cannot be reached on the inside from the fields, which are only 2 places per player, so you can block access with a Tower. I realize also that should I have done my last West defensive turn earlier, and I had many opportunities for doing so, I would have had a chance to win, considering North troubles ...
Anyhow, once again, you have maneuvered your ships admirably (or admiral-ly), especially with team sharing.
Despite a very bad start with my stupid early mistake which has put West very handicapped, I think I managed to make it a challenging fight till the end.
Kind Regards
Andre

Re: Klaus (South+North) vs. Andreloha (West+East)
Dear Andre,
I agree on your whole appraisal and enjoyed considering possible options of defense and attack from the beginning til the end of the match.
The match was fascinating at any moment. Even your last turn of east was dangerous. You moved your camel to the center island. If I had ignored that you would have been able to move three (and not only two!) pieces (camel + soldier + camel of west) to the Quests in the next round. Such possibilities are almost unbelievable! Surprise guaranteed.
But you won't be surprised that I would like playing again. Do you like to play, too? And if so in which constellation? Last year Andreas (monchhichi) and his friend indicated interest, too. But I have to clarify the actual state of affairs...
Kind regards
Klaus
Thank you. And you have played very well, too!Andreloha wrote:Congratulations you win!

Re: Klaus (South+North) vs. Andreloha (West+East)
Dear Klaus,
Yes I would love to play again. I prefer the board of 4 vs 2, it contains more "surprises" as you say
With 4 players that would be interesting, please let me know if they want.
Also on the 4 Player board, I noticed a bridge missing connecting Z26 & Z27. All other 3 sides have the equivalent connection.
Kind Regards
Andre
