Hi Everyone,

Please find hereafter West Turn 7:

S243 - B630 = 1 (boat from South)
B601 - 611 = 2
S214 - 253 = 1
S213 - 214 = 1
S214 π C = 10
225R = 2
Es231 - 230 = 1
230R = 2

Total = 20

Please note that I will be in Japan from June 6th until June 24th so will not be able to play during that period.

Kind Regards
Andre

Hi Everyone,
Let’s see how this works:

North - Turn 7

K325 - Y18. 5
S332 - 331. 1
B701 - 705. 1
Es331 - 705. 2
Gk725-726. 1
Bess705 - 725. 7
B700 - 721. 1
Β727-728. 1
Total 19
This completes North - Turn 7

I do have a question concerning catapult shots into the field:
Consider I have a D or N on space Y14 - if a Κ is on space 355 or space 357 (yellow marks) it can shoot Y14 - correct?
also
Consider a D or N on space Y15 if a C is on space 356 (stairs to field) it can shoot Y15 - correct?
I have looked at the explanations - and think this is correct, but want to make sure.

Thanks, and appreciate your clarification,
All the best,
George

Hi George,

I suppose that there are two mistakes:
1.)
George wrote:K325 - Y18. 5

I don't see any kind of piece on space 325. In my opinion your k-night is waiting on space 326. I assume that you want to move this knight (N326). Andreas, do you see George's piece on space 325?

2.)

We can move boats 6 steps (max.) farther. So in this case you reach the limit with step 5.

right

yes, K can shoot Y15

At the moment we should orientate ourselves by the numbered 4-player map in case we want to know where catapult shots towards the fields are possible. I already said that I had made a complete map showing where catapult shots into the field are possible in the 2-player version of Grand Conquest. (look this topic viewtopic.php?f=10&t=86 and the upload of the map at that date: 07 Jan 2018) For now there isn't such a map for our 4-player game.

Kind regards

Klaus

Hi all,
So sorry for the mistake, I moved the ship and then moved the elephant and soldier onto a different ship

Please accept the following adjustment:

Bes705 - 728. 5
Total moves of 17

Also, I believe K325 is correct.

As far as the questions about catapult shots, this was just for clarification and not related to this game or any piece position. Sorry for the confusion.

Any questions or further issues, please let me know.
Thanks for your understanding,
George

Hi again,
It’s still confusing so let me restate all the moves - North turn 7

K325 - Y18. 5
S332 - 331. 1
B701 - 705. 1
Es331 - 705. 2
Gk725 - 726 1
Bes705 - 728. 5
B700 - 721. 1
B727 - 725. 1
Total moves 17

Again, I first moved the boat to 728 - and then somehow moved the elephant and soldier to the boat on 725
I will pay more attention going forward - silly mistakes make life difficult for everyone.

Thanks,
George

Hi George,

it isn't a problem. I took a look at the sequence of your turns.
K is the sign for a catapult. One catapult is on space 312 the other one on your galleon.
I'm quite sure that you want to move your knight (you know the sign is N). And that's the course of the moves your knight has made from the beginning:

Turn 4 (14 Apr. 2019): N325 - 327. 2
Turn 5 (1. May 2019): N327-325. 2 (he moved back to the starting position.)
Turn 6 (28.May 2019): N325 - 326. 1

So your knight (N) is waiting on space 326 now.

Please, correct your turn and I suggest that you post the complete turn using 20 action points again.

Kind regards

Klaus
