Hello Owen,

it's my confession, Owen, "be peaceful to everyone on Christmas Eve!". So I will skip my turn today(!). ;)
I'm sure in the past the troops used the same argument. Bombs yes, but on Christmas Eve: No, never! We are good Christians.

Happy X-mas, to you and your family!

Kind regards

Klaus

PS: Here's a little taunt, my free X-mas gift! I can't help doing it.
It's a four-step-distance from A14 to 126 and not a five-step-distance.

Hello Owen,

the close hunting season is over. Here's my turn 9:

DsB31 - 162 => 7
S162 x BDs603 => 2
S603 - D162 => 2
Ds162 - 262 => 1
B603 - 602 => 1
S217 - E216 => 1
S218 - Es216 => 1
Ess216 - 260 => 3
S405 - Es407 => 1
Ess407 - B869 => 1
-------------
20 points

And now you could sweeten the day with cake and lebkuchen. ;)

Kind regards
Klaus

hello klaus.hope you had a good christmas, glad to see the christmas spirit has not dampened your desire to inflict misery and pain ;)

here goes:

S112 - E111 =1
S113 - E111 =1
Ess111 - 163 =6
S163 - 162 =1
N126 - A10 =5
K121 - 122 =1
K122 Δ D124 =1
S163 - 164=1
B 724 - 768 =3

thats 20 useless moves that are not going to do me much good at all! Go on, youve been sharpening the knives all christmas day, time to carve up the turkey :D all the best, owen.

Hello Owen,

you are not obligated to spend 20 points per turn.

Turn 10:

Ds262 x NA10 => 8
B602 - 601 => 1
Ess260 - B601 => 4
Bess601 - 603 => 2
Ess603 x E163 => 1
Ess163 x S162 => 1
Ess162 x S164 => 2
Bess869 - 871 => 1
---------------------
20 action points

The situation is well-arranged now. But I can assure you the captured pieces are training for upcoming matches...

Best wishes

Klaus

Hello Owen,

it was a great pleasure to play with you and especially to read your remarks! :) It's a good idea to study the Puzzle Book. It's even better to practise "learning by doing". So I'm looking forward to the revenge match! And try to convince some friends to play Grand Conquest on this website! So we would be able to use the 4-player-board, too. In my opinion it's a better choice to play an excellent game more often than to play hundreds of fair games one or two times in total.
I don't want to have the last word always. So please, Owen, your last remark...

Kind regards

Klaus

hello klaus. how about:

B702 - 726 => 6
B707 -714 => 4
--------------------
10

its more than one last word, but i'm sure your reply will be interesting :D

my mission is to last more than 10 turns! yes, i think a 4 player game would be a lot of fun, maybe after this game so i wont be a liability to my partner :roll:

all the best, owen.
